I am Stacy McClendon, a mother, writer, singer and community advocate that is an avid connoisseur of music showcased in a plethora of genres. Music is a true treasure that I liken to a physical person in my life, as it brings/has brought me great joy, peace and comfort throughout my life’s triumphs and challenges. I surrounded my children with music their whole life and they now utilize and share their musical gifts through instrument play, singing, writing, and producing music and film. I am excited to be an SMYO Board Member and look forward to assisting this marvelous organization with increasing participants and getting the opportunity to watch children’s musical gifts be uncovered and blossom into something that can/will assist them in reaching higher heights in their life.
