Arash Sadat

Board Member

Arash Sadat serves as board member and general counsel for SMYO. Arash is an accomplished civil attorney, with a primary focus on commercial litigation and white collar defense.

Arash has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts across the country. His clients have included individuals, small corporations, and Fortune 500 companies from a broad range of industries, including: food manufacturing, banking, real estate, aircraft leasing, and pharmaceuticals.

Since graduating Loyola Law School cum laude in 2011, Arash has also remained active in various pro bono projects. He has volunteered at numerous free legal clinics, including LA Legal Aid Foundation’s Skid Row Legal Clinic and Domestic Violence Clinic. He has also represented pro bono clients in multiple landlord/tenant disputes. In 2013, Arash served as Project associate for the Citizens’ Commission on Jail Violence, which issued a report to Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on how to curb excessive use of force in Los Angeles County jails.

Arash began his career as an associate at White & Case LLP. While there, he handled a wide array of complex civil litigation and white collar matters in courts across the country including cases involving contract disputes, unfair competition, business torts, federal asset forfeiture, and anti-bribery and regulatory compliance. Arash later worked as an associate at Brown White & Osborn LLP, one of Southern California’s premier boutique litigation firms.
