At an early age, she began her musical studies inside the Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Venezuela at Margarita Island, where she was a member of the Symphony Orchestra of Nueva Esparta state. Ana Paola continues her studies in the city of Caracas at the Simón Bolívar Conservatory of Music with the tutoring of Andrés Eloy Rodrígez, and furthermore at the Latin-american Flute and Piccolo Academy alongside Enver Cuervos.
Ana’s other studies and experience includes courses and festivals in Greece, Spain, France, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and many others. She has been under the tutoring of great Maestros such as Peter-Lukas Graf, Michael Hasel, Jean-Louis Beaumadier, Philippe Bernold, Birgut Ramsl, Alexa Still, Claude Lefebvre, Wil Offermans in addition, some of the most renowned Venezuelan Maestros: Antonio Naranjo, Marco Granados, Raimundo Pineda, Enver Cuervos, Víctor Rojas, Nicolás Real, Andrés E. Rodríguez, and more.
Ana Paola participated in the IX edition of the "Union de las Artes" (Arts Union) Festival in Guama-Yaracuy (2003), also participated in the Primer "Encuentro Latinoamericano de Flauta" (1stLatin-American Flute Meeting) in Caracas (2000); the XVI "Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara de la Colonia Tovar" (XVI Colonia Tovar Chamber Music International Festival); "Encuentro Nacional de Flauta in Caracas (2006)" (National Flute Meeting 2006); "Academie Internationale d'Ete de Nice" in France (2008) (Nice International Summer Academy); The International Flute Summer Course in Spain (2008); "Flutemeetings" in Greece 2009 and the Academy of Flute in Villa de Leyva - Colombia (2010) where she won the second place for her outstanding participation; XVII Festival Latinoamericano de Música (XVII Latin American Music Festival) in Caracas 2012; the World Flute Festival in Argentina (2012); XVIII – XIX Festival Latinoamericano de Música (XVIII – XIX Latin American Music Festival) in Caracas 2013-14 and others. In 2007 wins the contest to play a part in the flute section of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra. In 2010 qualified as finalist in the “II Concurso Nacional de Flauta y Piccolo de Jóvenes Solistas Yamaha” (II Young Yamaha Soloists Flute and Piccolo National Competition) in the flute and piccolo category.
She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Performance from the “Universidad Experimental de las Artes”. Nowadays, she was a flute and piccolo player for the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra. As a teacher Ana Paola has more than 10 years of experience with students around Venezuela in “núcleos” (centers) of the Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela. Additionally, she became in one of the flute teachers in the Simón Bolívar Conservatory of Music, "El Sistema", Latin-American Flute and Piccolo Academy, and had private lessons studio.
As a performer, Ana Paola participates like flutist and piccoloist in academic projects and is constantly cooperating with other composers of contemporary music made in and out of Venezuela, also she is associate director of ASOFLAVEN (National Flutist Association of Venezuela). Her first album “Elegante Guajira” vol.1 in Colombia like a tribute to her Colombian roots, album who won the Pepsi Music Award 2017 as Best Classical Album, she is also making inroads into the design with the collaboration of industrial designer Adriana Toledo, with whom it was possible to launch her first line of flutebags called “Auctor”. Also, is studying a Master of Music at the Simón Bolívar University under the instruction of Andrés E. Rodríguez and, Ana Paola is Tv Host of the tv show “El País Orchesta” (the orchestral country) who talks about of the orchestras and musical ensembles of the Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela.
Ana Paola Rincones is based in Los Ángeles performing with other artists, she teaches for Santa Monica Youth Orchestra, Pluralistic School One, A Place Called Home and, maintains a private flute studio.
