In the Jazz elective, students will learn jazz music and improvise over chords. All instruments and musical backgrounds are welcome. Under the direction of jazz instructor Tom Ralls, students will work together to compose their own piece, with original melodies and improv solos. They will work in tandem with the Music Technology members to record their compositions in a studio. Their final product will be available to students and parents.
